1. IITSE

Interfaculty Institute for Socio-Ecological Transformations

Presentation

This Institute was created in 2021 to federate a mass of researchers aware of the role that research can have in reform processes. It is through them that our societies must pass to achieve an environmentally friendly mode of functioning that isn't overlooking its social dimension.

The heart of the members' concerns is the issue of socio-ecological transformations.

The Institute therefore brings together multiple expertises favoring interdisciplinarity. To apprehend this research object - polydimensional and polysemantic by definition - requires bringing together perspectives in order to grasp its complexity.
